Meet Our Staff - Human Resource

Paul Snellenberger - paul.snellenberger@peopleetc.net

Paul Snellenberger is a Senior Human Resource Consultant for People Etc.  He brings with him over 30 years experience in Human Resource development and management. In his former role as public school Principal, he was responsible for hiring, developing, resourcing, and supervising a staff of over 50 certified and non certified employees as well as responsibility for the daily operations of managing educational programs for 600 students. He received the Illinois Principal of the Year award during his tenure.  Paul integrates his leadership and management experience into his seminars, training events, and consultations.

Paul earned his B.A. degree from Olivet Nazarene University and a Masters Degree from the University of Illinois in Educational Administration and Leadership. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at the ONU Graduate School, a Director on the Kankakee Area Community Foundation Board, a member of the Iroquois/Kankakee Regional Education Advisory Board and on the Olivet Nazarene University School of Education Advisory Board. 

Thomas Rehak - tom.rehak@peopleetc.net

Tom Rehak is the Vice President of Risk Management at People Etc.  Prior to affiliating with People Etc he served as V.P. of Human Resource Management Systems and as Chief Marketing Officer for Wellmark Health Plan.

Tom is a licensed health insurance broker.  His past 25 years of experience in both the public and private sector provides People Etc clients with the business assistance to effectively compete in the providing of health coverage for their employees.

Tom is active in many professional and civic organizations, including the National Association of Health Underwriters, Government Finance Officers Association, the Illinois Government Finance Officers Association, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Hospital Association, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and the Society of Human Resource Professionals.

Julie Melchor - julie.melchor@peopleetc.net

Julie joined People Etc in the fall of 2008 as a Benefit/ HR Specialist. As part of the HR Department, she is responsible for benefit administration and enrollment for our customers. She will be assisting with recruitment efforts and HR compliance involving COBRA and FMLA.

Julie earned her Masters Degree in HR Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. Her past experience includes 5 years as an HR Assistant to the Regional Director for Bally Total Fitness and its 55 facilities in the Great Lakes Region.
